All the way from France, this compact hound comes in four distinct sizes; two of which are currently recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) : Petite Basset Griffon Vendeen and Grande Basset Griffon Vendeen. These bright, energetic and go-lucky dogs are actually nicknamed “The Happy Breed”.
